Who is Saphyr for?
Provers
Individuals or teams who need to prove control of wallets and assets without exposing private keys or oversharing personal data. Typical scenarios include proving funds for a loan application, demonstrating NFT ownership to a marketplace, or completing in‑person checks by tapping a Saphyr Key on a mobile device.
Attestors
Organizations and verifiers that need reliable, auditable proofs they can independently validate. Examples include lenders verifying funds, rental or car‑hire firms checking eligibility, compliance teams performing KYC‑adjacent checks with selective disclosure, and marketplaces validating asset ownership without custody risks.
Core Concepts
Saphyr Key
An NFC-enabled hardware key that generates tamper‑proof signatures without ever exposing your private keys. Keys are scanned with an NFC enabled smartphone and registered on-chain to create an immutable association.
Containing Wallet
Your primary wallet linked to the Saphyr Key during setup. It anchors your portfolio and is the wallet you prove control of when generating an Attestation.
Proving Wallet
Any supported wallet you add to your portfolio. Linked through a verification process so you can prove control of multiple wallets across chains.
Attestation
A signed, timestamped proof that you control a wallet at a specific moment. Generated by tapping your Saphyr Key; independently verifiable by third parties.
Dashboard
Your control center to link wallets, view and manage your portfolio, and generate on demand Attestations — remotely or in‑person.
Saphyr Explorer
Public verification interface to independently validate Attestations and research Saphyr Key registrations and activity with full transparency.
How it works
1) Get your Saphyr Key
Register it to your Containing Wallet via a guided setup.
2) Link wallets
Add supported wallets (Proving Wallets) across chains to your portfolio.
3) Generate an Attestation
Tap your Saphyr Key to produce a cryptographic proof on demand.
4) Share & verify
Share details with third parties who can independently validate the proof.
